Senior Java Developer (Full Stack)

Job Overview

Xorlogics is looking for a skilled and motivated Java Full Stack Developer with at least five years of experience to join our growing development team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications across both backend and frontend layers.

You will work closely with project managers, designers, QA engineers, and other developers to deliver high-quality software solutions for our clients. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications using Java and modern frontend technologies
• Build and maintain robust backend services, APIs, and business logic
• Develop responsive and user-friendly frontend interfaces
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business and technical requirements
• Participate in system architecture, technical design, and code reviews
• Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing applications
• Ensure code quality, performance, security, and scalability
• Integrate third-party services, APIs, and databases where required
• Work closely with QA teams to support testing and issue resolution
• Contribute to Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience in Java development
• Good understanding of Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and RESTful API development
• Experience with frontend technologies such as Angular, React, or JavaScript frameworks
• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript
• Experience with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server
• Good understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and clean coding practices
• Familiarity with Git and version control workflows
• Experience working with REST APIs, JSON, and web services
• Understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with microservices architecture
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Experience with Hibernate / JPA
• Familiarity with unit testing frameworks such as JUnit and frontend testing tools
• Exposure to DevOps practices and deployment automation
• Proficiency in French and/or Dutch would be considered a strong advantage

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
• Relevant professional experience as a Full Stack Developer, Java Developer, or similar role
